Hosted by the Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce Home Tour Committee,  the 2023 Dowagiac Home & Garden Tour will feature six homes and one downtown "Upper" apartment. The tour showcases the architectural diversity and unique character of Dowagiac, Michigan.

Pre-sale tickets are available now for $15 per person through June 22, 2023.  Pre-sale tickets are only available online.

Tickets will be sold in person only the day of the event,until 3 p.m., at the Dowagiac History Museum and are $20 per person.

The tour starts at the Dowagiac Area History Museum  201 E. Division, Dowagiac, MI 49047.  Participants can pick up their wristbands and maps at the museum.  No one will be allowed to enter tour homes without a tour wristband. If you prepurchased your ticket, you will need to present your purchased ticket on your cell phone OR a printed copy the day of the event in order to receive your wristband. 

Things to remember before purchasing a ticket: These are private homes. Most have steep stairs that could present a challenge to some patrons. No pets will be allowed in tour homes.

    Facade Incentives Still Available through the DDA

    Downtown property owners contemplating facade renovations of their buildings can receive an added boost this construction season from the Downtown Development Authority. Building owners are encouraged to apply for a Facade Incentive Grant offered by the City of Dowagiac's Downtown Development Authority commission.
